The Scene
Every inch of Koji Imai’s first stateside restaurant (he owns dozens in Japan) is meticulously designed in a mix of modern and antique motifs. Porcelain rice-bowl columns teeter high above the auditorium-sized dining area, and a gigantic temple bell suspends over a bottom-lit ice carving. Pampering servers, decked out in haute Japonica, flutter between cavernous leather booths and the long sushi bar. Even the celebs seem impressed. – Citysearch

Took B here for his B’Day and we both enjoyed the food and atmosphere a lot.  One flaw about this place is that the food took a long time to be served (about an hour!!), we were starving!! Once the food started coming (after we asked the Manager twice), it all came at once…not so good. Everyone was friendly and the place was pretty amazing, even the bathroom was dope (I have something about nice restaurants having nice bathrooms). While you’re approaching the bathroom you can already smell the “mint” in the air, when you get in your nose is all cleared up, that’s hot! I def recommend this place and will visit again! Peep the pics after the jump…
