Here’s another preview of what’s in the M by Madonna for H&M collection hittin’ stores in March. I am still not aroused with what I see. The trench is def a no no for me, there’s nuttin’ special about it…actually everything I see so far. I guess Madonna’s concept for this collection is focused on a less trendy but more of a classic look that will not be dated. Her pieces seemed to be geared towards “needed” rather than in fashion. That’s just my wild guess, don’t quote me on it. Actually these pieces are great for the corporate working ladies. I’m still trying to keep a positive mind, hopefully there’s “something” in this collection that will make me say, “WOW, I WANT THIS!” Thanks to my reader, Jhoanna for sending these over. well i think it is really not something for uor age group . I mean you’re right - this is something my mum can wear to work , women around 40-50 . It seems like M wanted do timeless-line but im really not impresed and im A BIG BIG MADONNA FUn so you can see…I only want to see this brown something , In summer it could be good alternative for work suit . Maybe is seude ? I don’t know .
And lingerie looks really boring , basic in not good sense .

dude…the place is called asian pub, it’s on 35 cooper sq. at 6th street. the drinks are $4 each, a good place to “pregame” before going out and killin it.
gee ~ i don’t “drink” may be that justifies y i haven’t been there =)

Hi, rou’re right: I work at H&M in The Netherlands. We had a meeting about a week ago about the upcomming season and the trends to look out for. The picture is from a flip over and Madonna’s picture was ALL OVER all the photo’s there haha because it’s a real big thing in march and they expect a pretty huge run on her collection. So don’t let the pic of Madonna fool you
All I have seen so far are the sketches and not the actual photo’s of the pieces, but I’m sure the lingerie is from another campaign called ‘New Lingerie’ or someting like that. It consist of pieces in several colours without any lace of ornaments on it, so really ‘basic’.

and the lingerie is just a new concept with basic lingerie stuff thats made out of special products …
the coat is also not by madge, it was all over the flipovers too (madge pic) and the trenchcoat is just a thing the ycalled: big believe, its a thing that will sell big this season and is gonna be a trend: a trenchcoat! so none of that is REAL madge
it just had her picture on it, cause these pix are also on acampaigng, not the madge one, but they used her pic to show that its a campaign too!

I too work at H&M but Berlin, Germany.
We also had a nice presentation off the kick-off and madge will not make a underware line. I think.
In witch shop do you work, because I was in Amsterdam this summer.

Retrogurl - I was wondering if you know anything about how much the collection is likely to cost. I am a huge Madonna fan and collector and so I am already saving encase I want to buy the whole collection! Not that I am asking you to leak company secrets but UK H&M have been very unhelpful in this matter and, as i am only a student, it would be marvellous to know whether I have to carry on saving or not (I have a dilemma as I have seen many items on eBay I want, too!). As you have spoken about the collection in a meeting I thought you might be able to tell me how much I will need in March. Any help you can offer would be much appreciated, even a general idea.
