Wow, this is by far the best preview of the M by Madonna for H&M collection…not sure if this is all the pieces (can anyone confirm?). But I finally see some stuff I want, very basic neutral colors and I think that’s what Madonna’s aiming for. Pieces that are timeless and most of the stuff are actually good for OLs (office ladies), so I’m 100% sure this will sell really well in Hong Kong haha. But of course it will sell well everywhere b/c it links to the name Madonna, which pieces do you like? Peep my picks after the jump…

wow! the collection is amaaazing! i’m totally in love with the bags and basically all the white outfits
some are so beautiful but neat, elegant but simple.

do u know what label (if the tag is black, white or pink)? anything that is not pink label i could get it for you. Only hnm city carry the pink label. and im hoping its not pink label. just send me an email if you know the label.

I guess im the only one but im not really feeling anything. Everything is so simple and basic and boring imo. Very Matronly .Looks like stuff for a much OLDER woman. As you said..it is very office woman friendly but since i dont work in an office i guess thats why im not drawn to it lol. I also agree with someone above that that new age turban is ridiculous and i only wanna see a 60 year old woman wearing that to hide a bad hair day.

i think the collection drops on March 22nd, but if you’re in HK most likely will drop on March 6th? I’m not too sure about this so don’t quote me on this. as for prices i don’t know how much but it should be like regular h&m prices or like the other collabo prices.

Some info: ALL the H&M-stores that carry a Women’s section will recieve the Madonna-collection..they are expecting not as big as a hype like with the Viktor&Rolf-collection, which was sold out within less than a day.
Expectations are that the collection will be in stores for about 3 weeks before it sells out….
If you are not able to get the dress you really want, just let me know and I’ll do my best
Retrogurl – I was wondering if you know anything about how much the collection is likely to cost. I am a huge Madonna fan and collector and so I am already saving encase I want to buy the whole collection! Actually, now that I have seen this page in full I realise I won’t want to buy everything, probably everything except skirts and dresses, though. Not that I am asking you to leak company secrets but UK H&M have been very unhelpful in this matter and, as I am only a student, it would be marvellous to know whether I have to carry on saving or not (I have a dilemma as I have seen many items on eBay I want, too!). As you have spoken about the collection in a meeting I thought you might be able to tell me how much I will need in March. Any help you can offer would be much appreciated, even a general idea.

He Charlie..the prices are about normal H&M prices…I work at H&M and that’s about all I’ve heard about it so far, so I’m sorry I can’t help you out more…
However, if you’re planning to buy allmost everything you should def start saving big time right now!
Personally, I’m not feeling everything..there are about 3 or 4 items I would cop even if they weren’t from Madonna.

Thanks Kiks – Yeah I’m not goign to buy everything any more!…some of this is just wayy too mumsy and looks like it came out of the Next catalouge (like the white cardis and the elastic-bottomed shorts!). I’m definately going for the trench coat, the sunglasses, the bomber jacket (but only in black) the shoes (not sandals), the puff-sleve shirt, the mock-croc belt and maybe some jeans etc. I thought it might be a capsule collection and that I’d buy the lot as a Madonna fan but it is huge so that’s a no. I’m a guy, too and although I dress ‘eccentrically’ compared ot most boys I don’t wear dresses or skirts so that saves me a few pounds, too. This is goon in a way because I’ll have some money left over for other things I want to buy (AMAZING new 7 for all Mankind jeans I saw: http://www.7forallmankind.com/Farrah_Trouser_Jean_in_Mercer/pd/np/43/p/1002.html) Thanks again for your help!

I must say the ‘Madonna-line’ is a lot bigger then I expected..I expected approximately 10-15 items but it seems there are loads more…different kind of bags and even shoes!!!
In a previous post I allready said that every H&M which carries a womens-section receives items from the Madonna-collection. However, seeing the amount of items here I think you should not be too surprised if your local H&M-store in a smaller city does NOT carry the WHOLE collection…..I’m quite sure they send more stuff to bigger stores..
