Cacharel & Baby Jane
(1) All Cacharel except for stockings, All Baby Jane except for stockings | (2) All Baby Jane except for socks, All Cacharel

I first learned about Cacharel and the sister brand Baby Jane when I visited Hong Kong. These two brands are very popular amongst HK gurls, but don’t mistaken it to be a local brand, it is from Paris. Cacharel was created in 1962 by Jean Bousquet and today is designed by British design duo Clements & Ribiero, famous for their eclectic and bohemian approach to mixing and matching textures. The look is young and fresh, its no wonder its a hit amongs young ladies. The prices are fairly high for these pieces.

Baby Jane is the little sister of Cacharel created in 2004, the designers got their inspiration from singer, Serge Gainsbourg. It is created to commemorate Serge Gainsbourg’s love to his wife Jane Birkin. This seasons theme is focused on Japan’s big hit, “Alice and The Wonderland” look. There will be a lot of flowers, bubble dresses, oversize tee, knitted cardigans, etc. lots of cutie looks. I really like the Baby Jane collection, the prices are reasonable but its not accessible in NYC. Peep some of the pieces from Cacharel and Baby Jane after the jump…

baby jane’s prices are much more reasonable..definitely gonna take a look the next time i’m in HK. Cacharel has been around for awhile..but in North America..it always seemd kinda ‘old ladyish’…but their perfumes aren’t bad. You can get a Cacharel tote when the perfume Amour Amour has a gift with purchase sometimes.

Cacharel is a well-known brand in Western Europe, but -as for Belgium- it’s more known for its fragrances. Amor Amor and Anais Anais smell really nice!!

When I was in HK I saw a lot of this brand as well but I never got anything because everything was so girly…. But I really really like the leafy/wheat pattern.
