Anyone went or is going? If I remembered correctly I’ve went to the Barneys Warehouse Sale once in my life and it was horrible, long lines and nuttin’ to buy. I had diggin’ through piles, I just don’t have the patience, did anyone find any jems this time around?

As for Intermix Warehouse Sale, I’m sure its the same chaos, I wasn’t going to go but I might give it a shot…we’ll see. Anyone went? Goodies?

There are some rare deals to be had if you’re got tiny (size 5-6) feet or giant ones or if you’re a size zero, but mostly things just really aren’t that cheap, unless you consider a Marc Jacobs dress marked down to $300 a bargain. Plus, the chothes get manhandled and when you’re dealing with delicate fabrics and expensive stuff it sometimes gets a little ratty looking.

I went the first day to the Barneys sale…MADHOUSE. I was going to do the usual walk thru the shoe section and leave. But since i was there, I thought I’d take a chance at the clothing racks. WHY WHY WHY. I got pushed around and hangers fell on my head as I was trying to pick up the good stuff off the floor! I was sweating and annoyed. But I did come out with a pair of Mayle peeptoes, Rick Owens top, Daryl K babydoll top and a vest by threeasfour. I felt like I had to walk out with SOMEthing after all that work.

went to the intermix sale yesterday with a few friends….it was a madhouse and there was absolutely NOTHING to buy. what was cute had pulls/rips/fraying from being handled and tried on by so many people, and everything that was available in my size wasn’t worth getting.

i’ve gone to the barney’s warehouse sale twice in 05 and 06 and i don’t think i’ll ever go again.

went to the intermix warehouse sale on the first day, and there weren’t much to buy. i saw a cute e.vil tee but it wasn’t all that cheap ($85 reduced to $50). i ended up with a pair of siwy rose drainpipe in jet (black) for $69. i’ve seen better deals at regular scoop sales!

yes, it is messy. I always go the first and the last day. I have always found gems. I bought my first pair of Louboutins from here classic nude pump for 178, I bought Marc Jacobs runway shoes for 100, and they always have $10 jeans. It’s not good for bags but I always seem to find great stuff by chance
