The restaurant offers everything from dip-and-roll-your-own popsicles to three varieties of warm chocolate soup topped with marshmallows and strawberries. Savory crepes, waffles, salads and sandwiches pad bellies so as not to ruin chocolate dinners. – Citysearch

Max Brenner is like Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory in reality. If you’re a big fan of chocolate, Max Brenner will give you an overload, but a tip this spot is not a good choice for regular food without chocolate. This ought to be Mae’s favorite spot to eat, she was overjoyed when I asked her to go with me (haha), she knew what everything was and how to use it (special cups for drinks). I was starving so I had to order regular food and I didn’t enjoy it that much, but the chocolate was def good. The customer service wasn’t on point and they seemed to be always missing utensils…I mean the restaurant is damn busy but if you’re going to serve S’mores you should have all the forks available. We had to use regular forks…how ridiculous, the table across from us had to also, they said they ran out…uh OK! Other than that I will give it another try, but only for the chocolate!! Peep the pics after the jump…

Good to see that this popular chain from my home country, Israel, is making a splash in the big apple – for another good Israeli chain in NYC, try Aroma. Their “Ice Aroma” ice coffee is the best of the bunch.
