For the annual Costume Institute Gala 2007 to celebrate Paul Poiret—a.k.a. the self-proclaimed “King of Fashion”, many celebs climbed the steep red-carpet of the Metropolitan Museum Monday night. A-listers were greeted by Mayor Michael Bloomberg and co-chairs Anna Wintour, Nicolas Ghesquière and Cate Blanchett. Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen may be twins but they both have very different styles, I’ve always been a fan of MK’s style. At first I didn’t like what MK was wearing but the more I look at it the more I like it…I def think MK was more fab that night. Ashley looked fab also, but I thought MK did it better. They were both dressed in Giambattista Valli at the event, who wore it better?

Who wore it better?

UM i dont really know whose who lol. But the white dress is so elegant but sexy…more my style. Rather than the black furry one…kinda reminds me of a peacock. SRY lol…so who ever the one in the white is..she mos def, in my opinion,…wore it better
melz ~ i labeled it as is, Mary-Kate to the left (black) and Ashley to the right (white).
they both look pretty to me !
i prefer ashley in white. very classy look. mk looks like she skinned a gorilla and belted it. (IMO)
i’m actually surprised that MK managed to pull that off, and i’m so glad they ditched the red lipstick! i’m having a hard time choosing since MK’s dress has more spUNK but i def. agree ashley’s is very elegant.
ashley for sure!
I think both look amazing - yeah MK dress is weird but what suprised even me is fact I really like it 0_0
I love how their make-up and hairstyle are fresh and different from all those NY bimbos and stylish star .
Another thing is guest-list : what about all those weird stars ? I mean this should be a stylish event not just some NY event so i know that invating all hollywood star is tempting but you don’t really need for example Jessica Simpson , LL , and many more … shame , shame ;/
Mk wore it better imo!
I give props to MK for being able to pull the look off, it’s divine. The accessories add a great mix of glamour, attitude, and boho, just like MK!
