Both are a cotton/linen blend and neither are see-through. They seem like fairly high quality dresses. I'd go today, though. Most are sold already--and there are no extra smalls left. The bib dress runs large--you definitely need to go down a size. Very few Larges, if any, left. I got a S and an M which seem about the same size.
