The Scene I live in the neighborhood all my life and never knew such a place existed! Freemans is not easy to spot, you have to walk in an alley to hit the restaurant, so secretive! Freemans quickly became one of my hotspots, though if you’re starving beware not to come and try to get a seat after 6pm. And they don’t take reservations for less than six people. You will need to wait at least 1-2 hours for a table for 2, yup its that long! I went there around 7:30pm and the host told me it was an hour and forty-five mins wait, I wanted it badly so I agreed. After chatting up with the host, Jonathan, he was such a doll to let me get a table after forth-five mins, thank you! The food was superb and I def recommend this spot and will be back for more. The food was amazing, especially the mac & cheese, a must have…I rate it either #1 or #2, def a fight between Schillers! Peep the meal after the jump…
– As you’re entering or exiting before reaching Freemans!

love your reviews, wish i lived in new york, hehe.
hey i love ur reviews of restuarants. last year i went through ur blog to get an idea of where i wanted to eat for my birthday. i ended up going to ONE on little west 12 street. this place looks like a decent place but how are the prices? because last year at ONE i spent 600 on dinner. do you have any recomendations?
the prices are moderate here, not too expensive but not dirt cheap. K perhaps try Brasserie, the place is pretty nice: http://www.nitrolicious.com/blog/2007/01/29/brasserie-01252007/
