I’ve always nagged B to take me to The Melting Pot in NJ (there’s none in Manhattan) ever since Carla recommended it but we never got around to it. So finally we took advantage of the chance to eat there when we hit up PDX, but I was sooooo disappointed I was almost angry at myself for eating there. It was seriously one of the WORST places and experiences I’ve had in my life. I’m not exaggerating neither, the service was horrible, my waitress literally disappeared after each course and I couldn’t even get my water refilled…I was basically sitting there falling asleep while waiting for the food. This is seriously hotpot in an expensive way, I don’t mind spending money on eating but this meal cost over $115 and I didn’t enjoy one bit of it. Totally a rip off and I wasted 3+ hours at that restaurant…sheesh! I def DON’T recommend this spot! The best part of the meal was when I was done! Anyways, peep the pics after the jump…
