Several new female streetwear brands are evolving, I’m glad they’re acknowledging that there is a market for the ladies in the dominant male streetwear game. SWNDL is a new female streetwear label set to debut this Fall (mid-late August). SWNDL was first established as “Swindel Designs, Ltd.” in April 2007 serving as a business platform for creative work. An abbreviation of the word swindle, their name is a direct reflection of their outlook: a collective of young city talent out to get theirs. Combining their love for Brooklyn and popular sensibility they form to work on various projects, mainly their street wear apparel line.
