When I first heard about the collaboration between Vera Wang and Kohl’s back in May, I was quite excited already. Though I have never shopped at Kohl’s I could imagine with designs from Vera Wang, it will be good. Now grab your pens and mark your calendars for September 9th, the release of Simply Vera by Vera Wang for Kohl’s will be hitting stores that day. Here are some teaser ads for now, I am counting down my days till I can get my hands on this collection its so fab! I can’t wait to see the entire line, will you guys line up for this?
The Simply Vera clothing for fall is feminine and whimsical, done in blacks, grays, taupe, dark brown and tones of purple, with a few accent pieces in gold and white. Wang has designed pleated skirts, bubble skirts, high-waisted dresses and several pieces with ruffles and bows for Kohl’s.
A double-breasted black car coat, with large buttons and a high, gathered waist, will be priced at $128. A long-sleeve color-block dress, in black and gray, is also $128, shown with opaque black tights at $12, high-heeled Mary Jane shoes for $70, and oversize pull-on knit hat for $25 and long gloves for $35. A white cotton blouse with a bow that ties in front, under the bust, is $54.

Looks great . . . This is the first time I’ve wondered where on earth NYC has a Kohl’s.

It’s just not fair. This is one other of those only-for-the-US things. If you live in the European main land you have to miss out of a lot of things: no kate moss for Topshop (Topshop only sells in the UK), no vera wang for Kohl’s… just great. I really love the clothes (I’ve always loved vera wang…). Too bad.

I’ve only shopped previously at Kohls for children’s clothes. I stopped by today & they had just put the Simply Vera Wang collection out. For those of you that are worried about the quality lacking put your fears at rest. This is an amazing collection at unbelievable prices! You won’t be disappointed. I purchased many pieces at the fraction of what similar designer wear would cost. My guess is that the initial collection will fly out of the stores. Run to your local Kohls as soon as they put their merchanside out!

Just purchased a Vera Wang skirt and shirt at Kohl’s. They are elegant pieces, especially the dresses. I must say the line seems to run large. I had to purchase a size 2 when I am a 4/6 in skirts. Again another example of sizing clothes to boost customers’ self-esteem. I think the collection will be a huge hit.

I really like this line. The design from this collection has more detail than Banana Republic’s. They are very nice. I think it will attract more young adults as well. However, like previous reviewer said, the size runs a bit big. I usually wear BR (size XS or S), but most of the clothes (size small) are too big for me. I wish they will carry smaller size (size XS or 0/2 , some dress starts with size 4).

I went to Kohl’s because I was seduced by the beautiful outfit on their mailer, especially the small black sweater with the low ruffled collar. No sales person could seem to find it. They told that I could probably get it online. I went online and of course it said that this product is not available. Yeah, because it’s the coolest thing in this line. What a waste of my time.

Stopped by Kohl’s to inspect Simply Vera Wang. As with most of Kohl’s (and some other local department stores), no one every seems to think about the Petite sizes, or that XS does not mean Size 4. Is there someone out there who recognizes the needs of Petite size 2? We seem to be the forgotten segment of the population. I really liked two or three of the dresses – but a size 4 just wont do! Is anybody listening out there???
