hello! the name “Black Mamba” did not derive from the kill bill movie..i have seen that movie once and yes, the movie is great. The name was actually inspired by the marvel character “black mamba”. If anyone has ever read those comics then they would feel me on this. But not only was it an inspiration, the name itself is strong and different.

Black Mamba isn’t trying to portray a “subtle & cute” look. We’re representing the femme fatale movement with our HIGHLY VENOMOUS & VICIOUS designs. Also, we’re working on different cut & sew designs at the moment. And look out for the Black Mamba jewelry line!

wow, some varied opinions here…. hmmm Im scared to leave any negative comments lol. Donkey Puncher seems like a total @$$hole but I kinda feel his/her point. As a girl who digs on streetwear I have to say I dont like when designers try to make clothes for girls that look like they should be on pre-pubescent boys. Sorry, I like to see girls doin their thing but Im just not feeling this stuff….

maybe something a little more subtle, cute cuts and maybe some accesory type stuff I dunno..

Looks good to me, I don’t know why a person with a tag name “donkey puncher”( shows how professional you are) whose supposedly an “educated participant in the industry”, would be hating. Black Mamba is an alternative clothing brand that gives females a choice, isnt that what makes this country great?, having different choices so females do not get stuck with the usual “go to” brands when they hit the shops?, Running your mouth on here with all this trash talk doesn’t do anyone any good.

Yes the general public is the general public and they only know what they like based on what is dictated to them.

However, I am pointing out my opinion as a consumer and as an educated participant in the industry. Sarcastic and rude as I may be flaming me for it will not change either the way I present myself or the fact that Black Mamba is tired, seen it, done it, rinse and repeat. Im sure the designers for Black Mamba live in Papa New Guinea and still listen to Will Smith because they think thats whats hot in America right now.

Bottom line is, you can aspire to be creative and make money or recycle snakeprints and Disney-esque urban cartoons like so many “blinged” out Popeye shirts before you have fun, stay safe, dont do anything new because you might have to try to conceptualize and that just doesnt turn a profit, and it can make your wittle head hurt to
