I’ve just received my new Canon PowerShot SD950 IS
camera this Friday, Canon sent it over for review (thank you!!). At first use I didn’t notice the difference between my camera (Canon PowerShot SD800 IS
) and this new model but after a few snaps I’ve noticed that the color and quality is so much better (even my friends noticed). I am loving this new upgrade, another function I really like is that I don’t need to turn the dial to preview my pictures, there’s a newly added button for previewing – very convenient since I have to look at every single picture after I take it. The shutter speed is also faster and the image stabilizer works better, did I mention its 12.1 megapixels – wow! I’m loving it, I’ve been using it this whole weekend and can’t stop raving about how the quality and color has improved from the previous model! It is simply amazing!
My next outfit posts will be photos taken with this camera stay tuned for that post! This camera makes a great Christmas present!
edit:
I forgot to mention how glad I am when I powered on and saw that there’s a battery indicator there! No more guessing when my battery will die on me! Great and important addition, since I use my camera everyday and don’t charge it until the battery is dead!

Dope, I got the SD900 and I hate turning that dial too. That camera is a must have. Gotta put it on my wish list.

isnt it kind of hard for all of these bloggers to maintain neutrality in reviewing all of these products that they are giddily getting for free!!!?? myself included.

I think getting it for free isn’t just review, but advertising as well. The camera looks really nice for a point and shoot.

Hey, the new photos does look really good. I’m thinking about getting a new camera too. I know Canon is always consistent as far as image quality is concerned. You should review more cameras to help me make my decision hehehe
