Posted By: eboogie | January 22nd, 2008 at 1:38 pmI definitely feel that they can step it up…there are so many fierce board designers out there, this print to me looks very general similar to one i’ve seen before on a roxy board ! tell them to get at this chick- Melissa Laine Scotton shes a dope board designer…And as for the snowsuit cmon now, it looks mad frumpy what is so spectacular about it nada..I know they can tap into some better resources for designers, cmon lux irie keep the snowboard game on the same level as the clothing line and you’ll do fine!
What a poppin outfit and love the boards!

Posted By: Jennifer | January 22nd, 2008 at 2:23 pmI think that they should continue makin them. i like the color of the outer wear n pants. usually when i go boardin all i see is people in black/red/or white. the bluish/greenish gears r hot and reallie stands out. the prints on the board is awesome n like i said it stands out and also matches. good job!

Posted By: Jen | January 22nd, 2008 at 2:56 pmThe snowboard gear is hot. Definitely would trade my 70 degree weather for a weekend in Aspen rockin that. Keep up the freshness!

Posted By: ALLISON LIN | January 22nd, 2008 at 3:30 pmI had suggested the snowboard gear for luxurie… and I def like the board they designed (look wise), but i’d have to see the actual board in person to see the quality/thickness of it. but the design is definitely cute! but, im not really feeling the color of the outerwear. a little too pastel-ish and looks a bit kiddish. i think they should go for a darker turquoise because pastel colors are not the only colors that are feminine!! if we wanted something pastel and frilly we would shop at bebe. luxurie should go for a dark turquoise or dark royal purple! that would be sexier for the winter =D
25/New York, NY
I’m not feeling the puffy jacket. And I seriously don’t think they should have matched the outfit with a pair of black boots…white boots would make the outfit look so much nicer. The design of the boards are nice.

3. The board is beautiful and reflects the style of Luxirie. Conscious to details, colorful, and girly but tomboyish. No complaints with the board! The snowboarding outfit.. on the other hand, is too bland for Luxirie. The monotone color is killin (in a bad way) it. Cream colored with that hue blue trimming or design would be better than that all over color. The shape looks too played out. If it’s Luxirie they better have hidden pockets and all kinds of other functional things goin on. Board A-, Outfit D.

I think the collaboration is hot - I always feel like a dork because the selection of women’s snow gear is limited (and I certainly don’t shop at Pac Sun), I hope that more collaborations like this occur in the future!

21/irvine,ca (22 on saturday! yikes)
I love the graphics on the snowboard! It looks so beautiful and the colors are great. As for the gear, the colors really pop but it would be too much for me to to wear it all together. I probably would just year just the jacket with brown or black snowboarding pants. Same idea with the pants; probably a more neutral jacket instead of all together.

Posted By: Daphney | January 22nd, 2008 at 8:11 pmI like the snowboard is really nice and feminine. The jacket looks pretty warm. They should definitely continue. Girl Power!!
23_san Francisco, ca
i’d totally buy the board. i love the board’s design, and knowing me, i’d probably rock the pants. it would probably look better in a different color or with some type of different color trim. i don’t think the jacket is a good snowboarding jacket. it’s a little too puffy and looks hard to move in. usually you’d want your pants to be a solid color and your jacket to have some type of print or design on it.

It’s about time Luxurie comes out with some snowboarding gear. It’s fabulous! The colors are so feminine compared to other gear which is dull and bland. But, I hope they have more colors!

Posted By: Ashley | January 23rd, 2008 at 1:28 amI love the boards and I like the gear. However, I think there should be more. Is that blue the only color ? It’s kind of boring on the outfit. They should have put a bit more into it and created some sexy designs like they do for the other outerwear/clothes in the Luxirie brand. On the other hand the boards are totally awesome. Very cleanly designed.

Not too crazy about that color, but I’m just one voice. I would be interested in seeing other designs. All in all the line is TIGHT. Holla!

I like the idea and the colors. I would like to see snowboarding gear that is more eye catching, like the clothing line. Something that would make me want to take up snowboarding as a hobby just so I can rock the cute gear! Keep up the good work Luxirie!
Thanks Wendy!

I think the boards are cute and the jacket is cute also-but a darker shade for the jacket would have looked much better.
Posted By: KiKi | January 23rd, 2008 at 5:24 am28,Miami, Fl.
The snowboard is cute but the jacket and the pants need to be more girly with some designs on it to make me look fashionable instead of looking like a plain blue marshmallow. You know I’m planning a ski trip sometime during the summer in Aspen and I need to be tight work in my gear and have nice pics and remember me looking fashinonable instead of marshmallowy.

I like the colors and could do without the pants… if I snowboarded then I guess it would hot. since I am a city chick and will remain one for the rest of my days I would rock the jacket in brick weather

ust like any other brand, LRG found its niche market. If you look at other snowboarding gear for women they are boring and dull in color. I would definitely love to see LRG continue to manufacture snowboarding gear. The pants are straight!!! I mean most girls want tight pants to look cute in, understandable . This is snowboarding though. I don’t want to see any torn pants while I’m skiing the slopes. The snowboard I absolutely love it !!! Its girly, its fun and its just for me!!!! I think id just purchase it to hang on my wall!!
Posted By: Shana | January 23rd, 2008 at 1:00 pm20, Miami, FL
i am loving the snowboard. it’s cute and has it’s feminine touch for the ladies. the color on the outerwear looks a bit bright but i’m sure on the slopes against that white snow it looks hot.

I think they should continue making snowboard gear. Their designs gives a good vibe and makes me want to snowboard right now. If I had this snowboard I’d feel mad cool.

SINCE I NEVER BEEN SKIING BEFORE AND DON’T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT SKIING. I LIKE THE SNOWBOARD, IT IS TOO CUTE!!! EVERYTHING ABOUT IT IS CUTE!! THE COLOR OF THE SUIT IS CUTE ALSO. THE DESIGN OF THE SUIT IS NOT FATTERING TO THE FEMALE BODY. IF I GO SKIING, I THINK I WANT TO LOOK CUTE BEFORE I AM COMFORTABLE. :)LADIES WANT TO LOOK CUTE NO MATTER WHAT. I DON’T WANT TO LOOK LIKE A SNOW MAN, I WANT TO LOOK LIKE A SNOW BUNNY!! LOL..LOL… IF THE NEED IS THERE FOR THE GEAR KEEP DOING YOUR THING, JUST MAKE IT MORE FEMININE!!
Posted By: MEME | January 23rd, 2008 at 10:37 pm20. Brooklyn, New York
Posted By: Lauren | January 23rd, 2008 at 11:41 pmThe snowboard is cute, the coat and pants im not so sure of. Looks really junior high school to me. Nothing new or unique about the coat to make it stand out. BUT i do think LRG should continue with a snowboarding line as it is their target market and would make sense. They would eventually become Burtons competitor
I love Luxirie. They surprise me with some of the stuff they come out with. I’m diggin those boards.

The contest jackets are really nice, im diggin them most definitley. The military look came out very nice and looks like it would be fabulous in person. As for the snowboarding suit… I cant really say too much about snowsuits considering I live in Texas but from the looks of it, alot of girls agree with the look being too young and boring. The suit just doesnt bring the dope boards any justice. The white snowboard is really cool, you can tell alot of thought and inspiration was put into the design which reminds me of LRG. All in all I think the suit would be better if it resembled a better theme and color choice. Thanks for the giveaway!

3. Nice board design, if i liked snowboarding and didn’t fall on my butt everytime I tried, I would definately use this snowboard. The outfit looks warm and comfy. I would like the outfit in different colors though; my favorite would be yellow and black. They should keep making snowboarding gear, but I would like if they had more original and special designs for the outfit. Maybe a different style jacket; the jacket looks really plain–I have one exactly like that. But overall, I think they’re doing a good job with the snowboarding line.
Love the prize!

3.Personally, i would have preferred to have seen a larger outwear line up from luxurie instead of the snow boarding gear and outer wear. On the other hand I think the board looks great , but i personally don’t really care for the design of the jacket, and pants. I think something a bit more sleek and not so puffy is needed. I think you guys should not do the snowboarding gear, i’d rather see you put the time and effort into your regular clothing.
Posted By: Colette | January 25th, 2008 at 2:50 pm20- Garden Grove, CA
Posted By: Skyler | January 25th, 2008 at 2:51 pmI like the design on the board, its cute. However the gear kind of reminds me of the smurfs. Its a little overkill on the teal. It would look alot better if they had more of the other colors from the board on it. Or even if they made the main color the grey from the board and had teal accents/designs on them.
21 Virginia Beach, VA
The gear could have been done differently .. it’s WAY too blue. I do like the fur-lined hood though. I like the board on the left but they’re both great.
Posted By: Sarah | January 25th, 2008 at 9:00 pmThe snowboard gear is nice. I’m not a snowboarder myself but the ladies need something cute and comfortable to wear in the snow. Most everything is made just for guys.
Posted By: Lanee | January 25th, 2008 at 10:37 pmI think the wholoe collaboration thing is hott and the board is soo cool I am definately feeling these threads and I think that they should keep it up. All though I’m more of a skater chick I’d like to see more skate wear from this brand because Luxurie is soo hottt! Ohh and yea they should also design skateboards.

Luxurie should continue making snowboarding gear. The snowboarding gear looks fab, especially the snowboards itself. The pants and outerwear are cute and im sure they will be coming out with more color combos. Great look and definatly cute and ideal to wear in the snow.
Posted By: Courtney | January 26th, 2008 at 12:01 am17 Torrance, CA
I love the snowboard. The design is unique, cute, and stylish with all of the nicest colors. The snowboarding outfit is also nice and the color matches perfectly with the board. I think it’s great that Luxirie is expanding into the snowboard category because they design such great clothes. They should definately continue. It would also be more appealing to women and could lure them to gain interest into snowboarding. I love luxirie!

3. I love the snowboards that Luxirie has here - there isn’t enough cute snowboards for girls to be proud of snowboarding on! I’m not feeling the blue suit too much - it’s not creative - I think they can do much better since their boards are v. cute and v. creative! Also, the snowboarding boots that are shown are too boyish and bland - since snow boarding boots are very bulky and not cute in general, some better colors (other than black) might work.

I think it’s a great idea. There aren’t too many cute snowboarding clothes out there! I don’t snowboard, but I like snowboarding clothes during the winter because it’s so cold!
21- Santa Cruz, Ca
The snowboard & outfit is so cute. I really dig how different companies are collaborating with others to make snowboards like kidrobot & burton. It shows that ladies can look good too & be stylish while out in the snow. I don’t really think they should continue making boards but do it on an occasional basis. Then it makes it more limited & people will be more interested to cop it.

Yes, finally someone design something that is beautiful. Not pretty in pink. which would have looked like a pink bunny flash going down the ski slope. I think it is like a smooth wave which rolls smoothly down the hill. The broad design is right on.
the whole package is AWESOME

Definitely a need for some great snowboarding gear for women out there, but I think they need to go back to the drawing board just one more time—
Posted By: Marcia | January 28th, 2008 at 7:38 pmOutfit looks dumpy—maybe would look better on–but sleeker would help, I think.
Also, the color is not terribly universally flattering–go with something that most people look good in.
The boards are nice but a white/very light background is more difficult to find if you really wipe out.
Overall, better than a lot of what’s out there but could use some improve ment.
