Photography: Target Target is partnering with renowned jewelry designer Justin Giunta of Subversive Jewelry to launch a limited-edition accessories collection, Subversive for Target. Following the footsteps of Dominique Cohen, this collection is the second jewelry launch in a series of limited-time-only accessories designers at Target. The Subversive for Target collection will be available at select Target stores nationwide and at Target.com March 23 through July 20, 2008. The Subversive for Target collection plays on the idea that more is more, and each piece is designed with a concept behind it, so it is both visual and thoughtful. This collection includes an eclectic mix of charm bracelets, delicate drop earrings and bold multi-color block necklaces. Key pieces include the jeweled locket fringe necklace, the tri-strand faux pearl necklace and the red butterfly brooch cuff bracelet. The exclusive Subversive for Target collection ranges in price from $14.99 to $59.99. Justin Giunta designs each unique piece of Subversive jewelry and has worked in different mediums over the past five years, ranging from painting, fashion, industrial design and jewelry, to create work that sits on the continuum of fine art and commercial design. Most recently, Giunta was honored as a CFDA/Vogue fashion fund finalist and was awarded the inaugural accessories prize from the Ecco Domani Fashion Foundation. A few of the pieces like the Gold-Tone Cluster Necklace, Jeweled Locket Fringe Necklace and the Cuff Bracelets are cute but I’m not too crazy about their accessories collection. Their accessories collaborations are a bit too pricey, are what do you guys think? Thanks to reader, Adis for the tip! More pics after the jump…

there are probably going to be about 50 items (that was about the size of the dominique cohen collaboration with target). i cant wait to see them all!
I really like the first necklace and the bangles on the bottom, but I don’t think I’ll be getting it unless it goes on sale because these prices for sort of decent quality doesn’t add up in my mind.
i actually saw some of these pieces in one of the stores in san diego this past weekend. i was going to buy the blue bracelet, but there were already some scratches on it….
very cute but a bit pricey, gonna wait till it goes on sale
i love those killer bee post earrings!
these are a bit pricey for target stuff. maybe they’ll go on super-sale like the dominique cohen stuff!
i love the earrings!!! and some of the jewelry does seem pretty pricey
