Mama has been keeping quiet for a bit but she’s back with her spring ‘08 collection, the t-shirts are nautical inspired and was shot in San Francisco. The pieces are available for purchase in stores now and the New Era hats will be shipping soon. My favorite piece is the sailor t-shirt above, super cute!
More of the collection after the jump…

I am the biggest sucker for all things nautical and anchors but this is a hot mess. The tops don’t even look good on those girls and the photography…as a photographer, it just hurts. Going to pass and not look back, damn.

Posted By: laura marie | March 24th, 2008 at 9:54 pmNot a good look.
Posted By: dee.dee | March 25th, 2008 at 1:26 pmMama straight fell off. Bleeding Gum Murphy’s is one of the models. Her shit looks hella cheap. WTF???? You were once a pioneer MAMA? Now you have young ass beezy’s stompin on you.
Posted By: swaggizzy | March 26th, 2008 at 1:16 amladies, ladies, we’re talking about t-shirts right? just checking. you don’t have to like my stuff, i don’t care either way. but really, my models are beautiful. you know it, i know it. please don’t insult ladies who are beautiful on the inside, as well as the outside.
and by the way, on my other project MISS CREW (misscrew.com) I have a column called “Always A Lady” . . . some of you may want to tune it as it looks like you could learn a thing or two.
Posted By: mama | March 27th, 2008 at 12:13 amIs dimepece hating on mama? I never knew MAMA had an ego? She seems like such a sweeet woman.
Posted By: booboohead | March 27th, 2008 at 12:39 pmEven though they are t-shirts they should still be on point. Don’t disregard the ladies who have been with you since the beginning. If you came out strong, stay strong, and end strong each season.
Posted By: dmpc | March 27th, 2008 at 1:14 pmThank god for MAMA and DMPC. I LOVE YOU ALL!!!!! Thanks for keeping me fitted. I don’t hate I appreciate.
Love,

Well, I’m excited that my store name is finally published on this site! Even if it is just a store list… lol. I am an avid reader of the site, although I seemed to have missed this one back in March
And on the topic thats all above…. Mama is my top selling brand above all in my shop. Its quality and the ladies down in Florida love it. Especially the tracksuit that just dropped.
Good luck to all womens streetwear brands.. its a hard niche to capture…
