WWD reports that Nina Garcia, Fashion Director of Elle, Project Runway judge/critic and author of The Little Black Book of Style has parted ways with Elle. Rumors started for a few months especially after the arrival of Joe Zee at the beginning of 2007 as creative director, but even more when Nina was missing from an Elle hosted a dinner with Moschino to celebrate Simon Doonan’s new book, “Eccentric Glamour: Creating an Insanely More Fabulous You” on Tuesday. It is said that Nina switched to Lifetime Television under a more lucrative contract. No one could be reached for comment at the moment, we’ll just have to wait to see if the rumors are true.
