(1) My first consideration is always design. I don’t rock tees too much, but when I do, be sure it’s something flashy with a cool design or vintage screen.
(2) The second thing I consider is fit. I prefer snug fitting tees that are a little longer in length than regular female tees. I have a long torso and I don’t like it when tee’s ride up and expose my belly (which isn’t too toned lol)
(3) The third thing I consider is material. Alot of brands are making female tees with like 4+%spandex and being that I like my tees snug, they end up hugging my body in a not-so-flattering way. Give me a 100% cotton tee any day.

4) Three things that are imperative to consider
a) the fit of the shirt and how you will wear it… jeans? leggings? make sure the syle will fit with what your going to wear it with (ie: is it long enough, loose enough?)
b) arm band tightness…hahaha yes this is a major factor because i think there is nothing worse then getting a tshirt where it feels like your circulation is being cut off or its giving your armpit a wedgie
c) the last thing i look at when buying a tshirt is what’s on it? color and pattern are all important….this way it also determines what jacket or shoes, or purse you carry….ahh its so complicated being stylish! lol

4. The top three things I look for in a T-shirt are:
*Size- a slightly baggy fit is more appealing to me than a super tight fit because I tend to wear super tight jeans, so to have a better visual aesthetic, I like to put loose with tight rather than tight with tight.
*Scarcity- I despise the moments when I go somewhere and spot someone wearing the exact same item as I am, whether it is shirt or a small piece of jewelery, I like to be exclusive.
*Design/Artwork- Ever since I was little I had an eye for the odd and eccentric. I love bold designs and usually try to incorporate them into my daily wardrobe. My boyfriend is a graphic designer and I also aspire to be a fashion designer so we are always looking at prints, patterns and designs and these tees really caught our eye. The Dia De Las Muertas T shirt reminds me of a project my boyfriend did on Voodoo. He used skulls and a similar aesthetic so everytime I see that tee I smile. Also Marilyn Monroe is my idol and VAIN is one of my favorite words. So that purple tee might be worn a WHOLE lot by me lol.

4. Three things that are imperative to consider:
(a) The design, is it HOT FIYA?
(b) The fit, does it look on me, if it don’t then I usually dont get it (it usually comes down to the arm sleeve fit and the boob fact.. you know do the “girls” fit
(c) Colors that match the kicks, if I dont have the colors which is a rare thing, that means I have to get a new pair of kicks, which is always a plus .. a new reason to buy a new pair.
1. yesshh!
2. 25/ tallahassee, fl (by way of DC)
3.set 2
4.. a) what dunks will match b) is the material soft, and will it fade c) is it x clusive.. no one else can rock what I rock.
1.Completed (Ugh! I hate newsletters, but I HEART nitrolicious.com =)
2. 15, Queens, NEW YORK ..hope im not too young =/
3. Set 1 (i love the colors in set 2 but i love the simple creativeness of set 1 that whole *hands theme* design is unique in a simple way i’ll be a trendsetter in that 1 =D lol plus i’m a medium!
4. A) Compatibility (will it go with my sneakers, jewelry, belt, purse?)
B) Does it Fit? (most important! don’t wanna walk down the street with oversized clothes..i remember one time this gurl in my skool came to skool with her brothers hoody, i was lyke omg! no she didnt!…but sadly yes she did. She looked lyke a big skittle, but thats just my opinion..
C) Price! (don’t wanna sound cheap but…money aint easy to get…im sure my parents are tired of hearing me beg for their wallet!
5. I noticed a lot of ladies said design/style/uniqueness..
but isn’t the point of fashion to make something else your own? and give it your own style, design, and uniqueness? the way one person wears a shirt can be totally different from another. Just giving an well my insight to the older ladies =)

Set 1
When I buy a t-shirt I’m looking for fit first and foremost. How well the colors blend comes next. Third I’m looking for innovation of design both in the artistic sense (i.e. what’s on it) and in it’s actual physicality.

4. When buying a t-shirt I consider the quality and comfort. I tend to wear t-shirts and sneakers when I want to dress down or comfy, meaning the shirt has to have a comfortable loose fitting fabric, yet cute and stylish and the same time. I often look at if it will match accordingly, or not match, yet still look good with a certain pair of shoes. Other than that, I like graphic designs that appeal to me.

4.the 3 things i take into consideration when i buy a shirt are the following:
i always look into colors, especially a color targeted for the season/trend. i also look into the fit of the tshirt, it it fits me comfortably and it doesnt have to tight of a look. another thing i look into when i like a shirt if it just fits me, meaning fits my style- if it catches me attention.
thank you!

1) Design first and foremost. Subtlety is what i go for when it comes to creativity, expressions, words or graphics. I would never rock a tee that is loud, exaggerated or overdone.
2) Material. Meaning, it better not shrink! But to be safe, I’ll almost always buy a slighty bigger size than what usually fits me, so when I leave room for it to shrink if it does.
3) Fit. No suffocating neck line. I look to pair my tee with skinnies so I prefer a somewhat loose and long feel. Not like it’ll drape over me, but nothing too snug.

a) Quality, I can’t afford to buy a new t every week, that junk has to retain its shape even if I wash it.
b) Design, something eye catching definitely. Bright colors, crazy shapes, you name it. Oh, and preferrably colorways to match with my kicks.
c) Affordability, yeah on occasion I splurge here and there. But its really hard to find some dope girls street wear clothes that aren’t totally over priced. I mean, a stussy T here costs like 7500 yen (75 dollars) at the cheapest. That junk is ridiculous huh? Help a sister out, and hook me up with those hot threads.

Three Things i consider when buying a t-shirt:
1. Originality– Fashion and design is like a piece of artwork. It reflects the designer. If it’s different, you know that the designer put thought into what they want rather than just designing something that they know is popular. If it looks too similar to another brand, it’s design/phrase is consistently used/seen everywhere, then I’ll pass. If i can find that design for $15 elsewhere, as opposed to the same design on a $60 shirt from a public label, I’d rather get it for $15. I like buying fits that are exclusive and turn heads because of the fact that it’s such a different concept.
2. Detail– I love detail. I.e. red stitching on a white shirt as opposed to white stitching, gold buttons, one extra stripe on the american flag, paisley pockets that you could only see if you pull them out or take the pants off, a tiny symbol in the inside of the shirt that you can’t see unless you accidentally find it, etc. Flaws also count as detail for me. If the shirt is accidentally off centered, one section isn’t printed right, it makes it seem more exclusive to me because it fell into my hands rather than someone else’s. Flaws are perfection.
3. Message– Shirts that get me thinking about an abstract message or just gives a straight forward “Fuck Off”, like Hellz Bellz or “Do I look like i give a fuck”, like MOB, always catches my attention. What you wear makes a statement about yourself, and sometimes, sends out messages that other people can’t send out themselves, whether it’s making a point or simply expressing a feeling.

4. The first thing I consider when finding a tee is the graphic/design. Especially, if its really unique with an Upper Playground-esque, artistic feel, that really catches my attention. After the initial attraction, I look for personality :] which I consider to be the color of the shirt. It can be a dope top but if the color just isn’t working then I’ll have to pass. It also helps if the colors are somewhere in the spectrum of the shoes/sneakers that I own already. So finally after making sure that there will be a continual enticement with the tee I check if its a a good match/size. After I check all that, it would be horrible if it didn’t even fit me or was one size too small! As you can see, I treat buying clothing like I’m choosing a male partner, and as with both the right one should be for life!
