If you’re a fan of Japanese design and products like me, MoMA Design Stores has just launched their newest Destination: Japan, a MoMA-exclusive product collection highlighting lifestyle products usually found only in Japan. Products include home accessories, jewelry and personal accessories, and children’s products. A lot of quite fun and interesting things, I’ve always been intrigued by how creative the Japanese are. There are also Takashi Murakami products exclusively to Destination: Japan – Eye Love I Pins and Mr. DOB Plush.

Also a birth of a new character, “Mochi”, developed in collaboration with Devilrobots and Kidrobot which serves as a mascot for Destination: Japan. Mochi is a nod to the diverse menagerie of kawaii (cute) characters that represent brands in Japan and serve as guides to everyday activities. The limited edition collectible toy is available in four colors and available online now. Fun, take a peek! via Freshness
