Last year news broke that MUJI will be opening their first US flagship store at the New York Times Building, finally after a year MUJI has just announced that “MUJI Times Square” is set to open its doors on Friday, May 30, 2008 at 12PM! The new store is along 40^th Street overlooking the moss-and-birch-tree garden on the ground floor in the Renzo Piano-designed building, with a 4,350 square feet of retail floor space and will offer over 1,750 household items and 420 apparel items at the opening. Sounds amazing, can’t wait to check the new space! Stay tuned for pictures of the store!
