Target GO International Private Label Collection 2
Photography: Target

After the launch of the Rogan for Target collection, Target introduces their Private Label Collection 2 designed by their in-house designers. The purpose of the Private Label Collections are for the interim of the next Go Designer collection, each collection will be available for one month. Round 2 will be available starting June 29th and departs when the Richard Chai for Target collection releases. There are 16 looks in the range featuring bright fuchsia, pink and orange pieces and several key summer items in floral prints, ruffles, shorts and dresses. There are a few pieces I am eying like the Slash-Pocket Shorts in Floral Print, Double Breasted Linen Jacket in Coral, Cowlneck Tank in Floral Print, Drop Waist Ruffle Dress in Black and Flounce Miniskirt in Floral Print. What a good tactic to keep the customers happy. Check out the collection preview in the meantime. Thanks to readers Trinity and Jamee for the tip. Are you feelin’ this collection?

Ranging in price from $14.99 to $44.99, the line includes a variety of updated summer must-haves, including linen pants, one-shoulder ruffled tops, volume-sleeve tunics and a floral-print romper. In addition, sheer fabrics give the collection a feminine vibe, found in skirts, dresses and tops with ruffle accents. Layering remains a significant trend: knit vests look edgy and hip when worn over cotton two-tone tanks with printed shorts. Additional standout pieces include swimwear, featuring two-piece suits that look chic in solid black and brilliant purple, and a two-piece floral-print halter.

Oh, I really this collection! I love the navy ruffle front dress, the black ruffle skirt, the long button tank, and the orange striped dress. Lots of cute stuff that at the same time seems accessible and fashion-forward.

I think it’s cool that Target is doing its own ‘private’ line of designer clothes instead of just copying designers as Forever21 is wont to do (though I admit I don’t at all mind that Forever21 does that because it helps spice up my wardrobe!)

i love it all. much better than last months collection!

  • K says:

I liked the same items that you did — the floral print is great.

I really like that first flowered dress and the black skirt with white edges. Much better than their first in house collection anyway!

  • kat says:

OMG this is soo cute! I love the ruffled tiered dress. I love how target is launching this inbetween collections because I have having to wait for a few months!

Apparently, Jonathan Saunders will be the next Go designer.

looks promising, though the last one looked promising in pictures too

lets hope the cut and fit of these are a major improvement from their last collection, because that mess was pure garbage, none of it sold at the target i shop at.

now this is cute… very Topshop. but i couldn’t get into the Rogan line as much as i wanted to :/

Much better than the first Private Label collection. I may pick up a few things.

I really like the tiered floral dress!

Look 8 is HORRID! If that thin model looks that wide in that outfit, imagine how my steak and potato-lovin’ self will look.

Looks 9 and 15 are totally cute tho.

The collection came out yesterday at a store near me. I posted what might be the first review on my blog. I liked the floral shorts, flounce skirt, and ruffle tank dress. I’m waiting to see what the tiered ruffle dress, skirt, and top look like, as my store didn’t have them.

  • Mary Hall says:

I really like this collection! I had to go to 3 targets yesterday to find it, so warning, I don’t think they ALL have it. Call first before you spend your precious gas $$$.
I bought 3 of the tops, I love all the english floral. My Target didn’t have the jackets or the dresses, but they do look cute in the photos. I love the jacket. And yes, this is prettier than the last collection, more romantic ala JH!

  • McKenna says:

I bought four pieces from this collection and they all fit like a dream, including the dress featured in Look 7 (but know that you will need a backless bra, or no bra, when wearing this dress).

A lot of the featured floral prints and ruffled textures fit right in with some of the anticipated trends of this next fall season. Some of the items in this collection are perfect ones to keep and save for fall!!!! Stock up and be ready!!!
