I actually like the look of the Steve Madden mores, especially the heel.
Baker’s has had their own version of these shoes forever! They’re on sale for $64.99 and they also have a tan color. I actually think the Baker’s version is WAY SEXIER than the Steven Madden version.

I got the Steve Madden ones on sale for $32 dollars from Amazon.com. Best to wait until the all the hype dies down and then you can get the shoe at a good price. I try not to purchase shoes when they first come out. I wait until the season is just about over and all the stores have to make room for new merchandise. Seasonal clearance items are always the way to go.
Steve Madden’s Maddiee Gladiator sandals are actually a closer match to the real thing SJP wore (more than 5 times in the movie!) I tried on the real thing, Dior Extremes, at a shishi-fufu consignment shop (going for $750 resale!) and realllly wished I could afford them..THEN I found the Maddiees for $79 at DSW, and I’ve never had so many compliments on my shoes in my life! I bought them a half-size larger than my normal size, and they are a perfect and comfy fit. I wear them so much, I’m now buying a second pair!
