I tried on the real thing, Dior Extremes, at a shishi-fufu consignment shop (going for $750 resale!) and realllly wished I could afford them..THEN I found the Maddiees for $79 at DSW, and I've never had so many compliments on my shoes in my life! I bought them a half-size larger than my normal size, and they are a perfect and comfy fit. I wear them so much, I'm now buying a second pair! Best to wait until the all the hype dies down and then you can get the shoe at a good price. I try not to purchase shoes when they first come out. I wait until the season is just about over and all the stores have to make room for new merchandise. Seasonal clearance items are always the way to go.
