We all know that celebrities and socialites have crazy money to spend on clothing, handbags and shoes, with such a huge amount of goods in their closets there’s no way they can keep everything, especially when they get free stuff too! Kim Kardashian is cleaning out her closet via eBay including her sister’s and celeb friend’s closets too, it’s a great way to make room for new stuff and rack in some money too. While doing so she is also doing a good deed by donating a percentage of the sales to her favorite charity, the Dream Foundation, an organization that grants wishes to terminally-ill adults.
Besides selling her stuff, she is also selling “herself and her sisters, Khloe and Kourtney“, you can bid on a lunch date with them and then shop at DASH, they’ll give you $500 gift certificate to start out with. Bidding at the moment is $6100, whoa! She’s also selling a few of her Chanel bags, the white Chanel bag seems to be quite popular amongst her items, bids are up at $1275 right now. this is a good idea but i wonder exactly what the actual percentage is going to the foundation…. i kind of think they would be able to give ALL of the proceeds to the charity instead of “a percentage” but at the same time, every little bit helps!
ONLY 30% going to charity. Geez.
