Now that you’ve seen snippets of the accessories, bags and shoes, let’s continue onto the clothing. Marc Jacobs has been one of my favorite designers for a long time, he’s simply amazing! MJ’s 2009 Cruise Collection for Louis Vuitton spotlights pure lines and subtle details, crisp cottons and fluid silks, pretty pastels and vibrant brights. The range can be worn from city streets to the beach and cruises to cocktail parties. White is a key theme throughout the collection.

A collaboration with the London-based artist Tanya Ling results in a series of pieces that offer a painterly reinterpretation of summer’s perennial nautical them, as silk twill is printed with watercolor stripes in shades of pink, blue or yellow on an asymmetrically draped top and skirt with bow details, a bracelet-sleeved jacket, and a pair of shorts. You can view the collection on the models here. The collection will be available starting from November.

There’s a few cute pieces I quite like in this range, particularly the more sporty part of the collection: the denim shorts, pink top with bow on the upper left corner, black and white striped top with a charm necklace attached, white shorts with gold and pearl embellishments and the black short sleeved zip-up jacket with gold and pearl embellishments.
