Looks like WWD for Japan’s July 07 issue has a sneak preview of the highly anticipated Louis Vuitton x COMME des GARCONS collaboration slated to release in September. The four Monogram Canvas bags are part of the special edition handbags designed by Rei Kawakubo of COMME des GARCONS, there are two more that hasn’t be revealed yet, I’m wondering what they are. I really like the monogram keychains on the Papillion bag, KAWAII! The multi-handles on the Speedy is really funky too, but I may need to see some hi-res images before making my final judgment. Kawakubo described her designs as ‘party’ bags, promising multi-handles or two handles morphing into one. All will use the Monogram toile, with the LV initials, and the offerings will hark back to the styles of 30 years when Vuitton made only bags and leather goods.
