Just as I was about to hit the sack I checked Target.com to see if the Richard Chai for Target collection has launched and it did! The range is now available online, I’m too tired to look through the site and buy at the moment- but I’ll be sure to shop once I wake up in the morning! For those of you that are planning to buy anything, let me know what you guys get. You can check out the collection preview here. Happy shopping!

Yay! My local Target had the collection out early yesterday so I was able to check it out before it got too picked over. Overall, the quality of the collection is better than most of the previous GO colaborations. I got the Blue/Black Rose print blouse (it runs large, FYI) and the navy silk dress (this ran pretty true to size). The quality on the silk pieces, in particular, were really good.
I initially was going to order everything online, but me and my boyfriend went to Target today and they actually had the Richard Chai collection there. I was really excited, but left disappointed. I didn’t really like the material of any of the dresses. I did try on the Silk purple dress - which was cute, but way too long on me.. It looked like a sack lol. I tried on the blue bubble skirt and it looked horrid.. I did only got the black and white tanktop. So I didnt leave empty handed
The collection looks and feels great in person. This may be my favorite GO collection so far. I bought the blue blazer. The sleeves are a bit long but I’m gonna have them shortened. I got the blue and black colorblock dress which has an amazing fit. I also got the flowy black shirt. It’s really simple but unique. The fabric is thin but good quality.
I love the thoughtful seam details and graphic prints in this collection. It’s one of my favorite GO collections yet. I agree with Rachel. I went to several Targets, as each one in my area carries different pieces. The only thing I haven’t seen in person is the purple skinny pants. Has anyone else seen them or tried them on? I am curious to see how they fit. I bought a few tank tops, the green draped tee, the jewel-neck tee, the orange ruffle top, the bubble skirt, the striped skirt, both vests, and the purple racerback dress. (Geez, that’s a lot!) Purple and blue are two of my best colors, so I couldn’t resist buying many of the pieces. I posted some reviews on my blog again. Can’t wait for Jonathan Saunders!
I think this line has some winners, but what really irks me about GO lines lately is that they have no reflection of what the designer is doing in their regular line. I know they are selling this stuff in the juniours section, and i’ll drag my 25 year old ass over to target to check it out, but don’t insult my intelligence. The dresses in this line were cute, and i liked the orange ruffle tank, the plaid coat, but it feels really finite in its wearability. Practically nothing feels fall to me.
