PONY Women’s Uptown (not part of the HH collaboration)
According to Fashionista, Hayden-Harnett is partnering up with PONY to release a “limited-edition sneaker collection”. Seems like HH is keeping busy with her upcoming Target collaboration slated to release in Spring 2009 and now a sneaker collection. I’m not sure about PONY kicks since I don’t own any, but I’m curious to see what they whip up. I certaintly hope it doesn’t end up looking anything like this pair, haha!
“The Brooklyn based PONY, which actually stands for “Product of New York”, approached the designer this summer to put some signature, vintage inspired colorful prints on their beloved sneakers because they, “like our flavor,” Hacker says.
Hayden-Harnett is planning to include a line of swimwear and shoes with their Spring 2009 collection. Set to retail from $88 - $148, the six-style swimwear line will include ruffled bottoms and ruched keyhole maillots while incorporting their signature prints. Their nine-style all-leather shoe line will include “flats, wedges and pumps detailed in colorblocking, weaves and appliqué with colors anchored in neutral palettes and predominant colors blueberry, ginger and aqua”. Sounds delish!
