I’m constantly on the prowl to look for chic and affordable sandals, for the past week I’ve been surfing on ninewest.com and this pair of Therockett Thong Sandal has been haunting me- it looks quite cute in the picture but not enticing enough for me to buy it. Until today, I went to my Nine West Editor Preview appointment- the chic PR Liz was rockin’ this exact pair! It looked soooo much better in person and on, I can’t remember how many times I stared and complimented her on those sandals- super fab pick! Liz rocked it with a deep purple off the shoulder dress and presented it very well, but I bet these will also look hot paired with leggings and shorts too! The thong sandals are available in black, brown and grey leather, my pick is definitely the black pair for $99 you can’t go wrong. i have these in grey. i love them dearly and every single time i wear them out i get compliments. it’s my cheap alternative to the margiela’s

I pre-ordered these in June. They were on backorder; expected ship date 6/26. On 6/26, I call customer service, a ninewest rep did a NATIONWIDE search and they had NO size 11’s at all so I canceled my order. When I first saw them, I fell in love. Even though summer is pretty much a done-deal, I still have visions of rocking these shoes with something off the shoulder (don’t ask me why!) $99 is not a bad price point but considering where we are in the season, I say MARK ‘EM DOWN!!!!!!!! I’ll have to rock the brown, though. There is something about the heel being wood that doesn’t quite have the same effect on the black AND the gray. Either way, it’s still a cute shoe-boot. DON’T HATE ON SIZE 11!!!!!!!!!!!

I’m not sure. Oh, the upper looks sexy enough as casual wear. However, the sole and heel says,”cowboy boot”, which to me is a workshoe.

omg….I think these shoes are hot! i gotta check them out at the store to see if they are really as nice as they look. i’m debating grey or black??
