Gwen Stefani spotted rockin’ a new tote from her Harajuku Lovers spring 2009 collection. She was seen leaving LAX on November 3rd while carrying her new son, Zuma Nest. The tote she is carrying is a large Trompe L’Ioiel, which also comes in black.

Also check out the other new bags in the new collection, quite cute. The bags start shipping at the end of December and February, the bags will be available at select retailers and on Harajuku Lovers webstore.

I love Gwen and her designs but they always kinda remind me of some other bag that I have seen. Havent we seen the outlined bag by MJ already? Even Jack Spade did something like that

  • Kt says:

Filiipino Maid above is TOTALLY RIGHT. Those trompe l’oeil bags are a rehashed rip-off of classic Roberta di Camerino (Gwen just added like, chains and crap). You may not know Roberta di Camerino’s bags, but they are very sought after in vintage circles and really ushered in the whole trompe l’oeil bags/clothing style. Marc Jacobs has also played around with trompe l’oeil this season, most noticeably with his trademark mouse flats. OH YEA and that KAWS x MJ mouse flat mouse flat collaboration (the pointy-toes black patent ones) are SO not selling. Huge flop.

when does gwen stefani ever have an original idea? her whole career has been based on ripping things off (e.g. jamaican culture, japanese culture, madonna), and her line is just another example of that.

  • amanda says:

These bags are obviously selling themselves in stores….they are gorgous just like the l.a.m.b. line….a fashion must have…and will be classically sought after as any other designer!!!

  • Monique says:

OK. 1st of all isn’t all fashion a copy of something else? no one really has new ideas, so its better to just embrace… and love fashion!

  • Imma says:

I’m italian girl and I LOVE GWEN and Harajuku Lovers!!!!
