The floral prints were really pretty, but they weren’t tailored in a great way.

I snapped up the cropped Navy pants, and I have to say that they’re AWESOME. This spring will be all about PANTS, and these are right on the spot!!!!!

Additionally, I bought a grey cardigan which fits beautifully.

For this collection, I would stick to buying basics as the items with prints don’t seem to fit very well.

I was super-excited for this collection but Target broke my heart again…

I tried the floral skirt on but it looked heinous on me. The material is really heavy, which isn’t ideal for that amount of volume.

I would really suggest checking the stuff out in a store if possible.. I wanted a few pieces but the fit was terrible. Im usually XS or S– an XS should definitely fit me well but the floral print blouse and striped dress in XS fit big, even though I got a Richard Chai dress in size 1. and the Rogan shorts earlier this year fit me in size 1 but these Thakoon shorts were big. So I would say go a size down or try the stuff on.. very dissapointed : (

Thanks for the heads-up. I was really looking forward to the launch, but I just browsed the collection and truth be told, I’m not impressed. Cotton tank tops and (ill-fitting) striped tees? Old Navy’s got the same stuff, which I buy on clearance to wear around the house or to sleep. As for Thakoon’s print pieces, I’m not in a hurry to grab those either. Now H&M’s spring collection (reported earlier), that’s one I’m excited about!

The collection is decent. I snagged the blue & white dress in the first picture (it also comes in black & gray). It is super cute! I really wanted it as an a-line skirt, though. The pleats hide the buttons…I’m almost afraid to wash it, though. I might switch the belt but I don’t know what to!

Modelizer, it’s the same dress. They just unbuttoned it for the photo shoot and styled it a little better than what you see on target.com.

Thanks for the tip! It hasn’t arrived at my store yet, so I’m going to check the website. I’m eyeing the floral dresses and the shibori print cardigan.
