Last night I went to the Target McQ Market private shopping event at St. John’s Center and did a video tour of the place. The music was really loud so you can’t really hear what I’m saying but that’s not important, the most important is you get a first look at the market and McQ Alexander McQueen for Target collection! I’m a bit camera shy so please bear with me, also stay tuned for the photos from the event and The Duke Spirit performance. If you followed my Twitter you guys probably know who I saw already haha…if not no worries as I will post lots of pics! Blythe Blythe Blythe posters everywhere, loves it! Also just a reminder that the Target McQ Market in NYC opens to the public today, February 14 & 15 from 12 noon – 10pm. Get your McQ early, it’s totally worth the trek there! I can’t wait to rock my new McQ stuff! If you can’t make it to the market no worries, the collection will hit Target stores and Target.com on March 4, 2009. I can’t tell you are camera shy, you’re so cute! I’ve been scouring the net for images/video from this pop-up shop and your video made me feel like I was there. This may sound silly, but I got the chills just looking at some of the pieces from this collection. I can’t thank you enough for this video! Are you available for personal shopping? I went on Saturday, got there at about 11:45 a.m. and the line was already around the block !! It was crazy cold outside. But, they started letting everyone in at 12 p.m. Once inside, people were grabbing everything ! The racks were bare in like 5 min after the opening. But, the sales associates were trying to restock items quickly. Three of the most popular items everyone wanted was the Zig zag print gathered dress, studded denim grey jacket and the leather vest. My boyfriend came along with me (Valentine’s Day) and was amazed that so many people had the same 3 pieces.
I left with only the Zig zag Print gathered dress, which I was lucky enough to get after a women put it back, saying that it wouldn’t look good on her. I wanted the Studded denim jacket but they only had size XL left, which was way too big. I guess I’ll have to buy it online March. 4 !!
