Got there at 4. Took me about 20-30mins to get in. I had my ipod with me so the wait was quick for me.
The shoes look great but I don’t have the budget for them. Besides, I seldom wear high heels. I think a lot of the stuffs there are overprice for the poor quality of the fabrics. I like a few sundresses but they are all about 135ish. H&M has similar sundresses for much better prices. I think I’ll be patient and wait for things to go on sale.
P.S. The free t-shirt is huge….

hi! i waited in line for 2 hours today, but i was a little bit underwhelmed by the selection and quality of goods at the store. then, when i saw the prices, i started to cringe. i am used to getting stuff like this at H&M, F21, and Zara — for much less! i saw a cute necklace, just like one at H&M, but it was $60!!!

the shoes were great, i have to say. a lot of girls were going nuts over the acid yellow patent platform pumps. i got a pair of the taupe gucci platform knockoffs and a pair of black plaftorms — but they were $145 each and i am having serious buyer’s remorse. the 10% student discount helped, but i think i may just go back next week to return them. i can use that money and put it toward a good h&m/zara shopping trip.

i noticed that, in the store, women weren’t checking out with a lot of stuff. i saw plenty of girls with just one item (like a black tank top), and many piles of clothes dumped over chairs and tables. the kate moss stuff was fully stocked. i dunno, i was just expecting much more of a bargain and i think many others did, too.

I wish I could get my hands on those Emma Cook for Topshop boots. The store opening in New York is a total disadvantage to us living on the west coast, I’m feeling huge jealously. haha

I was there in the morning, and the main wait was just for the store to open. I thought everything was really well organized (the yummy jam + cookies were a nice touch!). From the Kate Moss collection, I picked up the stripe flower dress (sold out online), keyhole body con dress and broderie anglais sundress. From the general line, I picked up the ostrich feather mini + the sequined top that went with it (displayed in the front of the store). The store was really well-stocked. I don’t think there’s a huge rush to get over there, I’m sure they’ll bring in new merch frequently. It was, however, fun to see all of the festivities + check out how great many of the folks in line were dressed! : )
