Last week I was invited to the Tory Burch showroom to check out their Fall 2009 collection of handbags, shoes, accessories and apparel. I was quite surprised with what I saw, to be honest I didn’t realize they had a full line- I mainly checked out their shoes. I was particularly impressed with their range of accessories, their expanded costume jewelry line and handbags were quite amazing. As we know studs are huge for fall, they’ve got a line of handbags with studded detailing I’m quite in love with, other features include military detailing on handbags and shoes. Other key trends consists of boy meets girl looks, nautical, leather mixed with feminine silhouettes and jeweled accents, personal style and mixing it up, layering with different textures to create interest and a look at extremes (skinny vs. slouchy). I was also introduced to the Editorial Director of E-Commerce, Honor Brodie, she used to work at InStyle, the newly re-launched ToryBurch.com was headed up by her. The revised site is much more interesting and consists of more contents for the visitors such as Tory’s must-haves, Tory’s style guide and a News section. It’s not only a place to shop but also a destination to get tips and tricks.

Nah. I’m not liking it.
I saw some loafers and flats that were cute; the lavender and beige flats are quintessentially Fall. And the bags are cute they do favor Michael Kors and Longchamp though. I don’t like the clothes :-Z.
i agree it does look like micheal kors. there are too many played out trends like the camouflage, and the animal print. The bag is deff a diy buy a cheap 10$ bag from the thirft store and studs.
I’m really feelin this whole collection
I’ve never understood the hype for tory burch. The reva flats are okay (and very uncomfortable which is crazy cause they’re FLATS!). This current stuff looks better than her usual stuff but it’s still lame. I’m not feeling it at all. Never have. (Agree with oliviaG, make this stuff yourself.)
And the other thing: I do not want to be a woman who shops at tory burch. The women who go there look like ex-sorority sisters who are over the hill (and they don’t know it yet) and probably do things like tivo oprah.
Oh yeah and another thing, Wendy, I got those shoes from HM you are wearing. I’m not sure I’m gonna keep them cause they look too chunky and nurse-ish. How are you liking yours?
