I’ve always took notice of 80%20 shoes, their signature hidden wedge are fashion forward and truly wearable and also perfect for those looking to add some height (like me). For Fall 2009 owner and designer Ce Ce Chin found inspiration in the urban romance and creative vision prevalent in the early 1980s, particularly New York City. Drawing upon images from movies like “After Hours” and “The Warriors”, the fall styles evoke a sense of strength and femininity.
Chin evolves her signature hidden wedge with cut-outs, buckles and chains adding a trace of Rock ‘n; Roll, a hint of the modern day geisha can also be detected with the appearance of wooden wedges. She also draws on classic Americana references with bridle leather, buffalo check patterns and a neutral color palette. I’m lovin’ the Fall collection especially the over-the-knee boots and chained knee-high boots, all the new styles are totally cute!
