This is a tough question to answer, because there are so many people killin it with their style on the streets, famous and not. The ultimate dimepiece to me is my older sister Daphne! If I had to choose between the two garments, I would choose the Lazer Cut Tunic Not only is the design hella clean, the length would do wonders for hiding my unflattering mid section hahaha.
In our society, I feel Michelle Obama is the perfect candidate for the ultimate Dimepiece. She is extremely intelligent, beautiful, knows how to hold her own as a strong African American woman, and most importantly, she’s real. Michelle realizes that the status of our economy does not allow women to splurge as much as they want to on clothing, shoes, basically everything that makes a woman look and feel good about themselves. So she lets women know that women can still look and feel good, but on a more affordable budget, which I truly respect. Michelle gives women of all ages and socioeconomic backgrounds a role model to look up to and options that you don’t have to spend your entire paycheck just to look beautiful through the eyes of others.
