The cargo jacket by Jack BB Dakota wasn’t actually supposed to appear in Twilight. ”I was planning to use the brown hoodie for that sequence, but the director of photography hated the fact that her hair and the jacket were both brown and felt she got lost in it,” says Chuck, who then made a last-minute run to outlet store Nordstrom Rack to hunt for a replacement. ”I literally brought that blue one on set just before they rolled cameras. Then Catherine said, ‘Wendy saved the day!’ That made me a hero.” Good news for fans: Because of its massive popularity, the newly dubbed ”Twilight” jacket will be reissued. via EW

So they are relaunching the jacket because of Twilight? To think it ended up at Nordstrom Rack it means nobody wanted it at first place and no one is really searching for what Bella wore in the movie anyway.

i just bought this jacket at nordstrom rack for $40 and then noticed it on the metropark site as the twilight jacket. so i googled it and found this. i haven’t seen twilight yet so to all of fans, norstrom rack has this jacket in all colors for $40.
I also just found it for $40 at Nordstrom Rack yesterday! They had a whole entire rounder with several colors…blue, black, white, tan and green. The only difference I noticed is it doesn’t have the zipper above the pocket, but it certainly doesn’t take away from the jacket….still really cute! But it runs REALLY small! I normally wear small/medium/size 6 in jackets or coats and I had to get large!
I also just bought it at Nordstrom Rack. Though it doesn’t look exactly like Bella’s… as someone mentioned, no decorative zippers above the pockets and no ribbed cuffs, but still similar. Gliks.com is also selling them for $58, free shipping – lowest site I’ve found so far.
i bought tht before twilight came out and i love it i found out that if u go to http://www.gliks.com u can buy it for $58 like my friend did yesterday and it is not a pre order they have them in stock!

Is this the jacket’s actual color because i’ve seen it a lot duller and i like the duller color better but i also see it really bright blue like this on certain websites
I totally bought this coat two years ago at Nordstrom Rack. I saw it on Urban Outfitters today and googled it and found out it was in Twilight. Wtf? Haha. Time to see if I can sell my coat now.
