Looks like Lauren Conrad has found herself another gig after life on The Hills, according to the Business Wire she will introduce a casual California-inspired clothing line for young women in 300 Kohl’s stores and on Kohls.com. Later, Kohl’s plans to sell the exclusive brand, LC Lauren Conrad, in all of its more than 1,000 stores.” The LC Lauren Conrad for Kohl’s collection will be priced from $20 to $60, the line will be exclusive to Kohl’s and will have wardrobe basics like jeans and knits. Look out for the collection in Kohl’s stores and Kohls.com in October. What’s your thoughts? Are you excited about this? I’ll wait till images of the range releases before judging. Check out the video where Lauren takes you shopping at Kohl’s after the jump…

The video is hilarious. She acts like she’s never been to a department store before.

I actually really like Lauren’s style and I thought her Lauren Conrad line was cute just totally over priced. Hopefully the collection will be just as stylish but budget friendly.

Who is she to design clothing??? And she’s wearing Louboutins, really?? Yeah I am very sure she shops at Kohls.

this is so funny considering the fact that she was just selling American Apparel-ish clothing for +100$… but Lauren has always been pretty fab to me, so i hope the collection is good.

I don’t understand the purpose of half the video being silent. That was pretty annoying considering I kept stopping and restarting it not knowing it was meant to be that way. Anyways I like Kohl’s so I’ll most likely stop by and check the collection she’s doing with them out.

I don’t get her design style…she is plain as hell, obviously not selling great amount of her stuff which is way overpriced as for freaking basics…the only reason why she calls herself a designer is because of a doubtful “Hills” fame. Did she even graduated from that fashion school? It makes me mad, because all “mortal” designers as myself don’t get opportunities like that.

Beautiful, and yet natural and not flashy

After too many bad experiences to even count I will never ever shop at Kohl’s again. But I’m also of the “no way is this woman worthy of the moniker designer” camp. The last and worst experience was watching the manager watch the cashier literally yell at me when I said “Hello, how are you today?”, laugh and sided with the b*tch of a cashier, saying *I* had an attitude problem! How sick is that? Not only did I walk out leaving a hefty amount of goods, but so did others in line. Sorry for the vent, the store makes me insane after being treated so poorly too many times, they don’t deserve my hard earned cash.
Cheers!

I love Lauren! I think she has great style and this would appeal more to people due to the lower prices.
