I’ve been lusting over these Vince Camuto Dita Wedge Sandal ever since I saw them at the Spring 2009 preview back in November last year, they’re finally released. Although the brown pair wasn’t made, these gold ones are even better- they’re so hot. So glad its warm enough to wear open toe sandals, just hoping the rain will go away already so I can rock these out on a bright sunny day. The metallic gold trim and stitching adds a pop to the tamed gold leather upper and wooden “donut” wedge. These babies stand 4.5 inches high but are pretty comfortable because of the padded insole and wedge. The Dita retail for $139.00 (Zappos.com) and $134.95 (Endless.com) and comes in two colors, gold and black. i’m so on the fence on these ones! the structure reminds me of wedges by jessica simpson that karla from karla’s closet has .. hmm i dunno their either amazingly beautiful or totally wrong.. i think theres just too much going on for my taste but they definitely look good on you

The rounded “tongue” sticking up from the sling strap is distracting and superfluous, and the widening of the sling strap as it comes forward is incomprehensible. Why make a sandal that covers half the foot?
