Jordan Brand has been showing the ladies lots of love this year in the form of GS-only releases that may make male sneaker heads jealous. Here’s another stunner in that vein, the Air Jordan 1 High Strap GS. This one has something of an early 90’s feel to it, with an electric blue nylone upper and bright pink accents. A pink plastic lacelock features flowy script that we can’t quite make out (do you happen to know what it says?) The white midsole and stripes on the ankle strap do a nice job of grounding this otherwise blinding palette. Their official stateside release date will be mid-June, but you can also pre-order them in advance of a June 13 Japan release from atmos.

What is “GS-only”? I don’t know why male sneaker heads would be jealous though since most Air Jordans are made for males.
GS-only means that they’ll only be released in gradeschool sizes so up to a 6 or 7 in youth. Yeah, I don’t think many males would be jealous since A LOT of the LE/LS -only stuff are reallllly nice. These new JB releases are so bogus and they disappoint me (almost) everytime.
BTW, the lacelocks write out “Jordan”. I have a pair of the all purple I’s and I have the same lacelocks.
