I like to do my own nails and there is so much room for mistakes with matte polish! Funny story. After seeing your post about the Essie Neon collection, I ordered a mini-set through an eBay buyer. I painted my nails and my neon colors were coming out matte! I was very surprised. I don't believe that the neon collection is matte, or is it? The colors ARE gorgeous so I just finish it off with a high gloss top coat and they look fine =] Not a fan of matte polishes..
