Vanessa and Angela Simmons’ Pastry collection has been doing very well in the teens market and their collection is no longer just sneakers, apparel and handbags, they recently announced their partnership with B.BASE I.D.G., who will design, manufacture, and sell the Pastry Eyewear line. I give them mad props, they’re doing their thing! The Pastry Eyewear collection launches the “Back to School” range with 8 tasty styles inspired by the design of the footwear line with cross over elements including, patterns, signatures and color. Keeping up with the slogan: sweet, chic and unique, each style delights with perfect little details including diamond kiss tips, “crystal” temples, lazered lenses, kiss nose pads and much more. Check out the Simmons’ sisters rockin’ out their new shades in their Fall 2009 ad campaign along with the 3 girls who won the “are you a Pastry girl?” contest. The Pastry Eyewear line will launch with the “Back to School” collection consisting of 8 styles across 21 sunglasses and 4 fashion readers, and is slated to release nationwide August 2009 and will range in price from $39.99 for the “Flap Jack Classic” and “Flap Jack Aviator” to $75.00 for the “Frostie Visor Wrap”.
