Celebrities everywhere are letting their lingerie peek through, its no longer “trashy” or “wrong” to be showing your bralettes out. The key to this trend is to wear a sheer top with a bright color lace bralette (no padding please) but don’t overexpose yourself, just a little peek through will do. My pick is the Hanky Panky Signature Lace Bralette ($46) since I’m a huge fan of the brand, their signature lace thong is my favorite and most comfortable. Rihanna is a fan of the look as well, she was seen on June 29th headed to lunch with Santigold at Phillipe Chow in NYC wearing white button down top. denim shorts, Alexander Wang bag and an orange lace bralette peeking through. i think the way rihanna wears this look is perfect and it dosen’t look tashy at all. i like the trend but i’m 16 (17 in sept. yay) so i don’t know if this would be right for me yet.

I personally think its sexy… you just need to be able to pull it off… the look isnt for everyone, but if you’ve got it down, then definitely work it!
mmm yeah i agree i think it’ll always be trashy and i do still see it as trashy but just in a nicer less “what the hell” way.. i was considering getting one of those bra’s I saw some in h&m but i think the bra on show only works for those with smaller chests

the reason why it works for her (and for gwen stefani as Bon menioned) is because they have this tomboy style. put it on someone like eva mendes or any curvy uber-feminine actress who doesn’t have that tomboy edge at all and it just looks slutty.
