Last month, we reported that Joy Gryson launched a line of bags with MCM called MCM New York. On the 6th day of New York Fashion Week, I went by to Saks Fifth Avenue for the launch event hosted by Coco Rocha, she’s also the face of the new collection. I’ve always been a fan of the old school MCM monogram bags, these new designs are great for casual and everyday use since they’re simple and don’t have logos all over. Per the previous post, MCM New York is comprised of three groups: the Sportivo, Notte and Giorno which will retail between $695 and $2,800. The collection will be sold exclusively at Saks Fifth Avenue and the MCM Plaza boutique in New York. The collaboration is ongoing, with plans for a holiday and spring 2010 line.
