A new look book image for the Rodarte for Target Sequin Ribcage Mini Dress hit our inbox this morning from Target and we were requested to remove the old one. Perhaps they’ve been reading the comments from the previous post (lol)? This also confirms our question of if the dress belonged to the collection, indeed it does. The styling of the new look book image looks better, I liked how they styled the sleeveless sequin dress with a striped top underneath (cute and fun)- just like how they did at the press preview. The Rodarte for Target Go International collection consists of 55 pieces and will range from $9.99 for knee-highs to $79.99 for a leopard print jacket. According to a Target spokesman, the collection is “very feminine, yet very modern and incorporates a rich mix of patterns and fabrications and everything from sequins and bows to faux fur”. Mark your calendars, the limited edition collection will launch at Target stores nationwide and on target.com on December 20, 2009, and will be available through February 6, 2009. > Rodarte for Target Ribcage Sequin Mini Dress? i feel bad for the fit model that target used for the previous image. it was probably an internal image that target never meant to be released to the public.
i also hope they paid her some extra money.
i also like the inclusion of the striped top. looks less halloweenie.
Not trying to make a joke here but I honestly think it’s a HUGE mistake to not release this ribcage dress in time for Halloween. Maybe they want people to “take it more seriously” but come on. I would totally wear that to Halloween parties. Actually, I’m kinda bummed that i can’t!
OMG is the styling on this pick horrible. It looks so costumey. The striped shirt is god awful and the glasses… hot, hot, hot mess.
Oh god, that other image was terrible. That’s so funny that they asked you to take it down. This one is much better, Halloweeny or not.

Turrible! This looks so costume-y. Reminds me NOTHING of Rodarte.
