Most of us were quite disappointed when the Christian Siriano for Payless fall 2009 shoes came out toned down, but I guess to sell to the mass market that’s the way it’s gotta be. Things didn’t change for spring, Christian Siriano sent models down his spring 2010 runway show in pretty fierce talon-heeled shoes but from the looks of the leaked images, spotted by The Cut, don’t expect to see those at a Payless near you. Payless has once again toned down the shoes to fit the mass market, disappointed…again. Do you like? I hope better shoes will be included in the collection, stay tuned… More pics after the jump…

It’s definitely a downer that Payless edits the shoes so heavily for sales. I saw 2 of the pictured originals at his book signing here in San Francisco and they are insanely gorgeous in person.
Kinda sad that “everyda” “regular” people dont appreciate high fashion. Christian can totally make amazing shoes even for payless, but they wanna tone it down to sell out. Hm. Sad.
I like the print and pattern of the mass market versions, but otherwise, the shape is pretty generic. I’ll pass.
I am soooo disappointed. Couldn’t they have at least kept one of the features? either the talon heel or the pointed front? Or even at least the platform? I am feeling the peep toe zippered boot from the meet & greet pic though. =)
