Obsessed with Jay-Z and Alicia Keys’ song “Empire State of Mind” which was filmed in New York City’s Harlem, Times Square and around Ground Zero on October 1st. I can’t seem to get it out my head even though I hear it on the radio a million times a day. May be because I feel mad proud to be born and raised in New York, it still gives me goose bumps every time I hear this song especially when Alicia Keys’ hook comes on. Man this song gives me chills as well and I’m not even from NY. Love the song, love NY!
The song is awesome! I’m not from New York, but spent 3 months there and when i’ve listened to this song something moved in me…i can imagine what u feel when u hear this song! Jay-Z’s voice is so relaxing and it doesn’t matter what Alicia wears she always looks gorgeous and her voice is still incerdible and matches with Jays.
I feel the same way! There is nothing better than being born and raised in NYC. This and New York, New YOrk r NYC anthems! There’s no place like NYC.
I love NY, the fashion capital and am proud to be born there too! Sadly, I never really lived there but I will return one day! This song so reminds me of how much more I NYC along with all the other NY songs like “New York State of Mind” etc. Yay New York!
