Mark Fast Launching Lower Priced Line, Faster

With the economy still not looking so good, designers have to work extra hard to get sales up to stay in business. Launching a lower-priced line or collaborations are a great way to start. London-based designer Mark Fast is launching a lower-priced line of nylon and elastane knits for spring, called Faster, according to WWD. While prices for his designer label wholesale for $2,500, Faster will range from $25 to $400 wholesale, and includes simple form-fitting tube dresses, cropped tops and leggings. Curve and Seven in New York has already picked up the line.

“The main collection is done on domestic machines, with a person knitting one dress at a time,” he explains. “[Faster] is done with a factory in Italy.”
