I’ve simply had enough attack from this particular reader [batman@gmail.com *prolly a fake email*] that got nothing better to do but leave degrading comments. Why leave the same comments over and over? If you don’t like me or my blog or have a problem with my height, then why visit religiously? I normally just shrug off hate comments, as I get quite a few everyday, but this particular commenter leaves multiple [similar] comments in posts that I’m not even in (which I’ve deleted already, please stay on topic). Yes, I am short (5’1″)…and? I never claimed to be tall or a model, if there’s no short people in this world how could we call anyone tall? So you got your point through, now let’s see how you look like. I’m sure you’re a supermodel with 42″ long legs…
And for your info, there’s some fabulous short celebrities (info via Google search): Mary-Kate (5’1″) and Ashley Olsen (5’2″), Lady Gaga (5’1″), Nicole Richie (5’1″), Hillary Duff (5’1″), Christina Aguilera (5’2″), Lily Allen (5’2″), and the list goes on. So there…let’s move on…

I’ll share with you how I handle these type of people. Be the ONE to adjust and UNDERSTAND, as they are prolly had A CHILDHOOD EMOTIONAL VOID, hence the adult venting.. XD

I’m 4′ 11.5 and proud of it! I’m well proportioned though and ppl tell me they wish they had my body all the time. It’s all in how you carry yourself, I forget how short I am all the time (except when I get jeans hemmed). People hate cuz they’re freakishly tall and can’t strut their stuff like we do!!

you gotta check out the “V Love U Just the Way U R” Editorial in V Magazine’s new size issue. it definitely hits home in regards to topics like this. screw what people think. we are all perfect that way we are!

Hating on the tall people is just as bad as hating on the short people. Just embrace everyone’s height and love it. Some of you are just putting yourself in the same category as this batman person. You’re not better than tall people and tall people aren’t better than you.

I’m 5’1-5’2ish and i’m used to it, and to have my favorite girls like Nicole Richie, Hilary Duff, Lady Gaga, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen share the same height as me makes me prouder.
And Kate Moss as the worlds most popular supermodel being much shorter than the standard model, shows that height isn’t everything.
You say it, girl! (I’m a shortie, too.)
